Welcome to the RackForms Installer!

Quick Tips: Hold your mouse over each field to see a hint :: Firefox is best browser to use with RackForms.

  Database Info

These fields define the database details RackForms will use.

RackForms supports several database vendor/driver combinations, for most users the MySQL via MySQLi option (the default), is what we want.

One of the most important and often tricky settings is the Database Host value. Some hosting companies like Host Gator will use a long string like domain.db.hostgator.com, while other will simply use localhost (the default). If in doubt please consult your web hosting control panel for the proper value to use.

  User Info

These fields pertain to our local RackForms installation. They define the user name and password we'll use to login to our RackForms instance, as well as the 'admin' email used in case we need to retrieve a lost password.

We also define our domain name here, this field is important in that its value must match the one we've provided in the domain name registration system.

Server Timezone should already be set, though it's possible it will need to be configured manually.
